Ohanapecosh
A Native American word, Ohanapecosh is thought to mean “Standing at the edge.” Indeed, it is: at the edge of a 14,410-foot-tall active volcano; at the bank of the crystalline waters of the Ohanapecosh River; beside a complex and majestic old-growth forest. The Ohanapecosh visitor center interprets the forest and river ecosystems in the southeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park.
As the project leader and writer, I developed exhibition concepts and content and managed the development team.
